Planning a Valentine’s Day Wedding

Nevada Wedding Articles » Wedding Planning

Are you thinking about a Valentine’s Day wedding? How romantic! Valentine’s Day is probably the most romantic day of the year. It is the ideal day for couples to celebrate their union with their marriage. If you are looking to plan your wedding, there can literally be no other perfect day than Valentine’s Day.

Planning a Valentine’s Day wedding takes some special planning a preparation. It is after all, not just every day of the year. That’s why you selected it! One of the most important things you’ll have to think about is selecting a florist. Valentine’s Day is a very popular day for florists. You’ll want to have your florist selected way in advance, at least six months prior to your wedding. Make sure they have experience handling weddings and that they understand your wedding is on Valentine’s Day.

Another thing you’ll have to plan for is a location for the wedding reception. Many popular locations will be busy with romantic dinners for two for Valentine’s Day. You’ll need to book your location way in advance to make sure that you can get the location that you want. Being a bit flexible about the type of location you have will be very helpful. Keep in mind that when many brides and grooms go to books their wedding reception, they need to be open to several possible dates. With your selecting only one date: you are really narrowing your choices. You are also selecting a holiday, which makes this even harder. So to improve your chances you need to be open to various locations, so that if your favorite location cannot accept you perhaps another location can with open arms.

A great idea when planning your Valentine’s Day wedding is to think of a way to honor or celebrate all of the couples that are with you at your wedding. Perhaps have a special dance for all of the married couples or for everyone who is in love. Valentine’s Day is a day when people will be feeling especially romantic. Weddings make people feel romantic. So you will help people celebrate their Valentine’s Day by offering them something special to celebrate all of the couples at your wedding that day.

One of the loveliest things about having Valentine’s Day as your wedding day is that you will have it as your anniversary. Just think about being able to celebrate your wedding anniversary every Valentine’s Day. How special that will make the most romantic day of the year, knowing that you celebrated your love for each other on that day as well.
